Georgia Bar Exam. The Georgia Bar Exam assesses whether or not a candidate is competent to practice law in Georgia. The exam is comprised of three unique parts - the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), state-specific essay portion, and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT). A minimum scaled score of 270 out of 400 possible points is required to pass.
The Georgia Bar Exam is a 2-day examination. Day 1 consists of two 90-minute Multistate Performance Test (MPT) questions in the morning and four 45-minute essay questions in the afternoon. Day 2 is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), a 200-question, multiple-choice exam, where 100 questions are offered in the AM, and another 100 -- in the PM.
